Message to the Mare Island Community,
The US Navy recently notified us that they plan to start work at the Marine Corp Firing Range in the next few weeks. The Navy will be moving and compacting soil from August 22nd through October 5th. All trucks have been instructed to use the Mare Island Truck route. Please note that this a larger project with many trucks in use. Traffic will be heavier than usual.
