“The 1914 paddlewheel tug Eppleton Hall tied up at Mare Island Tuesday — the second of five historic vessels to be towed from the National Park Service’s Hyde Street Pier in San Francisco to the former Navy shipyard that will be their new homeport for several years. The 100-foot-long Eppleton Hall followed the 1895 lumber schooner C.A. Thayer that tied up last Friday afternoon at Mare Island after a six-hour tugboat tow from Alameda, where it had been drydocked for repairs.” To read more, click here.
