The Student Art of Mare Island
We share the recent collaboration of our friends at Three Thirty Three Arts and the students at the Vallejo Health and Fitness Academy
Collaboration is king – and here’s a very recent and wonderful story to share about creative collaboration with Three Thirty Three Arts & Vallejo Health and Fitness Academy here on Mare Island.
The Project: The east side of the Mare Island Health & Fitness Academy needed a bit of reimagining and ultimately offering more of a visual identity for the students and the community.
The Solution: Bring in our friends at Three Thirty Three Arts to offer inspiration and support as the students put together a plan of art-attack.
The Result: A brilliant and bold mural – a Mare, blowing leaves, morphing into butterflies and an Osprey created by our local incoming 8th graders (with a little help by local artist and hip hop dance instructor Gilyon).
